Video of Mafikizolo Performing at 2014 BET Experience + Music Video
I found out about the South African group Mafikizolo sometime last year. Their song Khona was so huge in Africa and I can understand why. Upon first listen, you can’t help but notice how unique their sound is. If you have ever thought music wasnt universal, well think again. I do not understand a single word of what they were saying in the song but that did not stop me from loving it any less.
They performed at the 2014 BET Experience at the Music Around the Globe event, which is part of the weekend celebration for the 2014 BET Awards. If you a re in LA, hope you got to check them out.
