I should classify this under “Things that would absolutely make me faint.”
According Suffolk County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals a Long Island, NY couple found a 3-foot-long python while cleaning an apartment that had just been vacated. The wife was cleaning a couch located in the basement apartment when she stumbled on the non venomous snake chilling. lol. Officials said Peter Wang and his wife were startled when they saw the snake. err duh! Wang called the the Town of Brookhaven Holtsville Ecology Center, which notified the SPCA. Wanna know how the snake got there?
Well, the snake belonged to a former tenant and it was left in the care of an upstairs tenant. The snake I guess must have missed his abode because the second it was able to get away, it came back to familiar territory.
Since Ball Pythons are legal to own in Long Island, no charges have been filed. A ball python is a nonvenomous python species found in Africa that can grow up to 3-5 feet long. WOW!
Uggh!. I would totally freak out legal to own or not. Like If you want to own pets that would freak others out, do your best to keep it secure. Glad no one was hurt.
